This is purely a maintenance scheme so currently everything will be reinstated ‘like for like’.

Dates & times:

Resurfacing works are programmed to take place over a series of two daytime full road closures, following which we will reinstate all legal and existing road markings.

Works are programmed to commence Monday 29th June, with working hours being 07:30 – 17:00Hrs.

A fully signed diversion will be installed routing traffic around the full road closure during the working hours

Access Arrangements:

No bus services are affected by these works, although am aware residential access will be:

  • Vehicular access to all properties in Potkiln Lane will be maintained via the B471 Goring Road.
  • Vehicular access to Beechwood Court will be maintained from the south via the B4526.
  • Vehicular access to Greenmore will be maintained from the north via the Reading Road.
  • Vehicular access to Whitehouse Rd  / Bridle Path will be maintained via the B471 Goring road.
  • We will endeavour to maintain vehicular access to those businesses and properties located within the resurfacing extents, however, there may be occasions where delays are likely once the new surfacing is laid, as it takes time to cool down and cure.

Letters will also be sent to all affected residents and businesses, advising of dates / times and will be timed to arrive two weeks prior to starting on site, which is also when we will install the advance warning signs.
