Free electric blanket testing! Book now for testing in September and October to make sure your blanket is safe for winter. Our Trading Standards team and Fire and Rescue Service have teamed up with Oxfordshire’s five district councils, Age UK Oxfordshire and Volunteer Driver Service to offer testing to all Oxfordshire residents. We’re proud that this will be our 26th year of offering this valuable service! Last year, we tested 743 blankets and over 30% failed the safety test, showing how important this service is.
